  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • ¼ teaspoon sesame oil
  • ¾ cup chicken broth
  • ½ pound boneless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
  • ¾ teaspoon white sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • ½ pound chow mein noodles
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 heads bok choy, chopped
  • ½ zucchini, diced
  • 10 sugar snap peas
  • 1 carrot, cut into thin strips
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onion


  • First you need to make chow mein sauce by whisking soy sauce, cornstarch and sesame oil in a bowl. Add chicken strips. Refrigerate it for 20 minutes.
  • Mix chicken broth, oyster sauce, and sugar in a bowl and keep it aside.
  • Boil the water and add noodles and cook on medium heat, for 4-5 minutes. Drain it with cold water.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add marinated chicken, cook it for 5-6 minutes. Moreover, cook and stir vegetables in a hot frying pan for 2 minutes. Add noodle and chicken mixture to the pan and pour broth mixture. Cook for 2 minutes. Serve it with garnished green onions.
