This cinnamon ice cream is made with just a few simple ingredients that are easily available at our kitchen. It is very simple to make. Interestingly, this ice cream can also be stored to enjoy later.

  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cups half and half cream
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


  • Firstly, whisk the eggs in a bowl.
  • In a saucepan add sugar and half-and-half in a saucepan on a medium flame. Remove it from heat until the mixture begins to simmer.
  • After that, pour the hot mixture into the eggs and whisk quickly. Pour the mixture back to the saucepan and add heavy cream. Cook until it becomes thick. Remove it from the heat and whisk cinnamon and vanilla into it. Keep it aside and let it cool, for 30 minutes.
  • Lastly, pour the mixture in an ice cream maker and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Transfer it to an airtight container and freeze for 4 hours until it gets firm.
