Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • ¼ cup chopped onion
  • ¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • ¾ cup ketchup, or to taste
  • Brown sugar as per your taste
  • 1 teaspoon yellow mustard or as per your taste
  • salt and ground black pepper according to your taste
  • ½ teaspoon  garlic powder
  • 6 hamburger buns, split

Instructions
 

  • Firstly, heat a large skillet over medium heat then cook lean ground beef in the hot skillet until some of the fat starts to render and the liquid is dried for 3 to 4 minutes. After the beef tenders, add remaining ingredients such as onion and bell pepper; keep on cooking until all the vegetables have been softened and beef is cooked fully for 3 to 5 more minutes.
  • Secondly, add ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and garlic powder and mix then season with salt and pepper.
  • Thirdly, low down the heat and simmer for 20 to 30 minutes.
  • Lastly, Divide and put meat mixture evenly on available fresh hamburger buns.
